About BOMA Standard
BOMA standart is an efficient methodology of commercial real estate measurement. Its mission is to create a unified measurement system in order to compare office buildings and make lease policy transparent.
Academy of Real Estate is the first holder of BOMA license in Russia, granted the right to conduct BOMA courses, the first one of which is BOMA Office Measurement Standard Seminar.
In 1915, BOMA first published the Standard Method of Floor Measurement for Office Buildings. Throughout the years, the standard has been revised to reflect the changing needs of the real estate market and the evolution of office building design.
The 2010 Office Standard represents significant improvements over the 1996 version and incorporates many features that have been demanded by property managers, including a new Single Load Factor Method calculation for all floors of a multi-story building, greatly simplifying leasing.
BOMA in Russia:
In 2014 the Russian Guild of Property Managers and Academy of Real Estate signed the License Agreement with BOMA International to be an exclusive representative in Russia.
At PROESTATE-2014 Academy of Real Estate (ARE) held the first in Russia BOMA Office Measurement Standard Seminar. The seminar participants got BOMA certificates. The seminar was conducted by BOMA International instructor from the USA – Peter L. Stevenson.
In 2015 ARE will hold two BOMA Office Measurement Standard Seminars in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
June 2015 ARE and BOMA organize a business tour to Los-Angeles: American dream delivered by buildings.
