CCIM Institute Instructor Thomas C. Bothen, CCIM.
Thomas Bothen, CCIM, is Director of Investment Analytics at One Chicago Realty in Oak Brook, Ill. During his 35 years in commercial real estate, he managed several hundred million dollars of lease negotiations, initiated development of a 900,000 square foot industrial property for a major international company, and has managed numerous construction projects. He gained portfolio experience on a national basis with Balcor where he managed over 60 properties in various asset classes.
Bothen has been a CCIM Institute instructor since 2000 and is the director of the graduate real estate program at University of Illinois at Chicago. He also teaches Chinese to MBA students at UIC and is adjunct professor at Roosevelt University in Chicago a real estate finance course.
Bothen earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Loyola University in Chicago and his MBA in Finance and Economics from University of Chicago.
Nowadays Thomas Bothen is also Head of not-for-profit organization United Way and Board Member of the local educational fund.

Only students completed course CI 101 and successfully passed exams are allowed to the next stages.
